We’re looking for an enthusiastic HQ Resident Relations Specialist to help create amazing experiences for residents across multiple communities in our multifamily portfolio. This role is all about relationships, renewals, and retention—and having fun while doing meaningful work.

Job Summary:
The HQ Resident Relations Specialist is accountable for resident communication, renewals, retention, and satisfaction across multiple communities. Working closely with Community Managers, Regional Managers, service teams, and using Yardi, this role owns the resident journey from move‑in through renewal or move‑out. Success in this position directly contributes to occupancy levels, renewal performance, and overall resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Resident Relations & Retention:
- Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with residents to foster a strong sense of community and improve retention.
- Serve as a consistent point of contact for residents throughout their lease term.
- Communicate renewal offers, answer renewal‑related questions, monitor expiring leases, and prepare, generate, and countersign lease renewals.
- Meet or exceed monthly renewal goals.
Collaboration & Support:
- Partner effectively with Community Managers, Regional Managers, Leasing Specialists, and Service Teams to enhance the resident experience.
- Coordinate move‑ins with Community Managers and Leasing Specialists.
- Assist with planning and communication of resident engagement events.
- Address and resolve resident concerns in coordination with Community and/or Regional Management.
Communication & Data Management:
- Manage resident communications through phone, email, text, chat, and social platforms in alignment with company standards.
- Monitor dashboards and pipelines within Yardi to ensure timely and accurate resident communication.
- Analyze resident satisfaction survey data and collaborate with management to communicate trends and insights.
- Distribute notices to vacate and community‑wide announcements as directed.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Dive into extra tasks and projects as directed by the Regional Manager and/or ZMG HQ—teamwork makes the dream work!
Education and Certifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and/or Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP) preferred.
Skills and Requirements:
- Stellar communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Yardi or similar software preferred but not required.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to deliver exquisite presentations and negotiate effectively.
- Basic Understanding of MS Office.
- Well-Versed in marketing and sales techniques.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
- Must be able to perform all duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Bilingual Fluency in both English and Spanish preferred but not required.
Compensation:
- Salary: $20-23/Hr. (Dependent on experience).
- Potential for commission/quarterly bonuses based on metrics set out by the company.
- Full-Time M-F (9:00AM-5:00PM) On-site.
